Casey Young is a local artist with a long history of entertaining in Citrus and surrounding counties. The majority of his career was spent providing drums and vocals for cover and original acts. During the last several years he has emerged as one of the most successful solo acts in the area. Casey has this to say about his show:
'It was rough going at first. To step out from behind the kit after 20 years and onto a stage by myself with an unfamiliar instrument was a challenge. However I soon found that most people aren't looking for a virtuoso. People mostly just want good songs with a solid mix and a strong vocal. I try to provide a nice variety in my shows; from old standards to new hits with a generous helping of my personal favorites to keep things interesting. People have been very receptive and I am grateful to be able to share my love of music with an ever expanding audience.'
